ArcherPoint began in 2002 with a small group of Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) experts. With decades of software consulting and NAV experience dating back to the 1980s, the goal of our founders was to create a culture focused on providing superior client service, personal and professional development, and excellence. Today we employ more than 90 full-time professionals throughout the U.S., Canada, and India and have a client base that has grown to include over 8,000 Dynamics NAV users in 38 countries. Greg Kaupp (read Greg's blog) began working with Dynamics NAV in 1997 as a Dynamics NAV client. Greg was the controller of a publicly traded company that chose Dynamics NAV as the ERP solution for their corporate office and all of their U.S. subsidiaries. After this initial exposure to Dynamics NAV, Greg was so impressed with the product that he decided to pursue a career providing Dynamics NAV solutions to growing companies. Since that time, Greg has been involved in Dynamics NAV implementations for companies all over the U.S., from small emerging firms to Fortune 1000 enterprises. As a CPA with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin, Greg has public accounting experience in what was once referred to as the “Big Six” accounting firms. This experience, along with his experience in the ERP software industry, has prepared him well for helping clients maximize their ERP software investment.
For more than 30 years, Jim (read Jim’s blog) has held progressive sales and sales management positions for business development with companies in nearly all areas of information technology and associated services. The last 18 of these years have been focused on Tier 1 and Tier 2 ERP systems design and deployment to mid-market firms with domestic and international operations. Jim has been with ArcherPoint for over 10 years and says, “I joined ArcherPoint simply because I was passionate about the kind of company that ArcherPoint wanted to become. We have stayed true to the goal of keeping customers’ interests first and relying on their validation of our work as the main impetus for growth.” Jim has attended the Disney Leadership Institute and is always viewing the business through the lens of the customer.
Matt (read Matt’s blog) has been working with Microsoft Dynamics NAV since 2006. During those years he has worked in development, consulting, project management, and support. He has also worked for companies that develop add-on products for NAV as well as NAV Partners and end users, so he has had the privilege of seeing NAV from many different views. In 2010, Matt published his first NAV book, The Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 Programming Cookbook, a collection of short “How To” recipes, detailing everything from basic development to advanced integrations. Based on his involvement in the NAV community, Matt has been named as a Microsoft MVP since 2012, one of five in the U.S. and 30 worldwide. Matt is passionate about helping clients and fellow employees attain a deeper knowledge of NAV.
After a 20-year career in Information Technology systems and process auditing, Mark (connect with Mark on LinkedIn) found his way to ArcherPoint during the early growth years of the company. Joining ArcherPoint allowed him to take his passion for efficient, effective, and well-controlled processes developed during his auditing career and bring those principles to ArcherPoint. Mark’s early years at ArcherPoint focused on creating processes and leveraging technology to quickly and responsively address client and internal requests, wants, and needs. He then played roles as Client Support Manager, Regional Director, and Operations Director, continuing to focus on incorporating process, people, and technology. In doing so, ArcherPoint quickly found that growing its team was critical to delivering on its core focus of “building a better business and helping our clients do the same,” which kicked off Mark’s role focused on talent identification, sourcing, and recruitment.
Suzanne (connect with Suzanne on LinkedIn) was introduced to the ERP world when she was hired to help recruit reseller partners for Navision US in 1997. She was part of the core team that grew Navision US from a start-up to a major player in the ERP market, which ultimately led to Navision’s acquisition by Microsoft. In January of 2008, Suzanne came back to the NAV world by joining ArcherPoint. She has served as an Advisory Board member for NAVUG, the Dynamics NAV User Group, and actively promotes NAVUG to the community. Suzanne is currently engaged at ArcherPoint as Director of Marketing, connecting the community and clients, current and future, to the benefits NAV and ArcherPoint have to offer mid-sized businesses.
Cindy (connect with Cindy on LinkedIn) has been involved in ERP software her entire career, starting off as a programmer in IBM environments. It didn’t take Cindy long to discover her true love – the world of consulting. Her interest in business and exposure to a broad range of industries proved to be strong assets as she moved into the role of business analyst and project manager. The next step in Cindy’s career introduced her to management. She began as a team Lead and ended up as the president of a consulting firm with 200+ consultants. Since 2005, Cindy has worked in consulting firms supporting Dynamics NAV, GP, AX, and CRM. Her primary role has been in the day-to-day management of the teams supporting these products. Her strong communication and people skills, along with her “can do” attitude inspires fellow team members to deliver exceptional services.
Scott (connect with Scott on LinkedIn) was introduced to NAV in 1998 as an end user, when he was the controller for a distributor/service merchandising company. Later, he implemented NAV as the Director of Finance and Operations for a housewares manufacturer. In 2005, Scott joined ArcherPoint as a consultant/developer. He has both managed and been a team member in a number of successful projects that included Financials, WMS in an FDA compliant environment, RF, EShip, Jobs, Manufacturing, and Service Management functionality. Scott has designed and developed functionality to streamline business processes. In 2008, Scott joined the management team at ArcherPoint, overseeing the employees and responsible for customer satisfaction in the Northeast and Central regions. Scott is now CFO, leading the accounting, HR, and internal IT teams.
Alan (read Alan’s blog) has more than 35 years of industry experience delivering corporate business solutions to mid-market financial, distribution, and manufacturing clients. He also has more than 13 years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV software, having started one of the first Navision Solution Centers in the U.S. As an owner, he received Navision’s Rising Star award for the most promising Navision Solution Center during the first year of Navision software sales. His Solution Center maintained sales growth year after year and consistently placed in the top 10% in Navision sales nationally. As ArcherPoint’s director of project management, Alan provides project management support to clients and assistance to project managers. Alan is also taking a facilitator role in bringing Holacracy to the ArcherPoint team.
