Microsoft Azure Delivers Compatibility, Security, and Economy

More than just a cloud computing and services platform, Microsoft Azure is an on-demand enterprise-class data center. In the cloud or on premises, it empowers businesses to do more; it provides more control over computing power, scalability, seasonality, and provisioning of computing power for expected and unexpected transactional bursts.

Compatibility

For many fast-growing businesses, Microsoft Azure is the ideal solution to costly ongoing setups and deployments. It’s been designed specifically to integrate with a range of current IT assets and deliver the benefits of the cloud as needed.

With Azure, users have access to both on premises and cloud options together. This allows use of the same assets, resources, and skillsets to support both. The hybrid model provides for integration across infrastructure, apps, and identity.

Even if an infrastructure includes a variety of operating software, databases, and tool sets from different vendors, a variety of workloads can be run on the cloud using different languages, including Windows, Linux, and Java as well as .net, PHP, or Python.

Security

Azure is backed by Microsoft’s industry-leading privacy policies, compliance programs, and security measures. With transparent best practices, a service level agreement of 99.9%, and high-level encryption, it’s a platform that sets the industry standard.

Azure secures business data to best prevent ransomware attacks from succeeding. Data is backed up at all times in three encrypted copies in three different geolocations. If data is compromised locally, users are able to fully restore and keep business moving forward.

With data hosted in the cloud, Azure acts as a flexible server. It provides cloud backup, storage, disaster recovery, and more. And with no single point of failure, data and apps are available even if local internet connections are down.

In just 30 minutes, you’ll learn how you can start protecting your organization now and what to consider in your cybersecurity strategy, including end point management, password health, managed detection/response, backups, disaster recovery, and user education.

Economy

With Microsoft Azure, users can significantly reduce cost compared to pay-as-you-go prices with one- or three-year terms on Windows and Linux virtual machines. This can be lowered further when combining savings gained from Azure Reserved Instances, and with the added value of the Azure Hybrid Benefit.

Lowering the total cost of ownership by combining Azure Reserved Instances with pay-as-you-go prices, costs can be better managed for both predictable and variable workloads. This allows companies to further reduce costs with reserved instance size flexibility. Widely varying costs associated with updates, maintenance, hardware, and more can also be eliminated with Azure’s offerings.

Improved budgeting and forecasting with a single upfront payment make it easy to calculate investment and cost. Unlike other providers, Azure offers the following:

  • No minimums or commitments
  • Competitive pricing
  • Charges for actual use only
  • The option to cancel anytime
