Microsoft Dynamics NAV/LS Retail Provider Provides Key Technical and Training Support
ATLANTA, GA – September 30, 2014 – ArcherPoint, LLC, a Microsoft Dynamics Gold ERP Partner and provider of integrated business solutions for retailers, announced that it has supported Canali, specialists in tailor-made Italian men’s clothing, in the opening of its eighth US boutique, located at 262 Buckhead Avenue, Suite 305, Atlanta, Georgia.
Since 1934, Italy-based Canali has been known for “masculine elegance” and a combination of sophistication and wearability. The company has 236 boutiques in the world, in more than 100 countries and is becoming more and more popular with US markets.
In 2012, Canali had selected ArcherPoint to integrate point-of-sale operations and credit card processing with its new accounting systems in its 6 boutiques and 2 outlet stores in the US, requiring replacing their existing operational software, for which the company chose LS Retail NAV.
“LS Retail offered the best store management functions for Canali’s needs, and LS Retail NAV offered easier integration to the company’s new financial system,” said ArcherPoint Retail Delivery Team Lead Wm. Matthew (Matt) Street. “We were recommended to help with the implementation, address US sales tax issues, and handle the company’s credit card requirements, as well as being a local, on-site presence for rollout and support.”
The previous implementations went so smoothly that, when the time came to open new boutiques and outlets, Canali called on ArcherPoint again. With each opening, the ArcherPoint team handles equipment preparation in New York, on-site credit card and sales tax setup, testing, and on-the-job training for the store’s employees, as well as staff from the corporate office and other managers.
ArcherPoint staff completed equipment preparation in New York and then went on site at the Atlanta boutique to check the equipment shipped from New York, put the finishing touches on Georgia sales tax setup, and train staff. The team remained on site for the opening and afterwards to answer questions, address any issues that came up during live operations, and provide additional training, including store closing procedures while the store was in operation.
