Microsoft Convergence Becomes Microsoft Envision: New Name, New Focus
As we told you in January’s Better Business newsletter, last year at Microsoft Convergence, Microsoft announced it would be changing the format of the conference for 2016, focusing on higher-level business leadership content rather than product information. They encouraged users to attend NAVUG Summit in the Fall for product information and collaboration with other users.
In February, Microsoft cemented the change, announcing a new name for the conference: Envision. We blogged about this last week, but this is a big change the NAV community needs to be aware of as you plan your training schedule and budget for 2016, so we want to keep getting the word out.
Don’t sign up for Envision expecting to hear about the latest product releases, see product roadmaps, or play with Microsoft Dynamics NAV in the Solutions Experience center. But what you can expect in this flagship event for business leaders and decision makers is a focus on the latest trends and ways to capitalize on them, explore disruptive technologies and successful strategies by industry and role, and opportunities to connect with other C-levels, innovators, and visionaries.
Are you planning on attending Envision? Talk to us about your goals.
