ArcherPoint Kicks Off 2020 with a Foundation of Significant Accomplishments in 2019
ArcherPoint’s management team and board recently met for the company’s 2020 kick-off meeting, and we all left there very excited about where we’re going in the new decade. Our CEO, Greg Kaupp, along with the management team and board, put a plan in action to continue pursuing ArcherPoint’s growth and global expansion goals for the decade.
That’s exciting all on its own, but we also realized as we looked back on 2019 that it was not only an eventful year, but a year that proved to be the perfect springboard for the new decade, with many accomplishments that will support achieving our goals.
Positioning the Company and Employees for Success: ArcherPoint Becomes 100% Employee Owned
ArcherPoint kicked off 2019 by becoming 100% employee owned (ESOP, or Employee Stock Ownership Program). Greg Kaupp believes that transforming ArcherPoint into an employee-owned company helps current and future employees build for their retirement and gives every employee more of a stake in the company’s success. Employee owned companies often outperform non-employee owned companies.
“My dream for ArcherPoint has always been to find ways to unlock the entrepreneurial potential of the entire organization,” said Greg. “By forming an employee-owned company, we are on our way to achieving that goal through the power of ownership.”
Employee ownership complements ArcherPoint's organizational governance model of Holacracy, which is a cell-based, distributed decision making corporate governance model that helps unlock the potential of each and every role in the organization.
Leadership for a New Decade: ArcherPoint Strategically Aligns its Board of Directors
To ensure total alignment with its aggressive growth goals, ArcherPoint focused on building a Board of Directors with experience in operations, product development, go-to-market strategies, and professional service delivery, as well as the talent and vision to help the company grow and expand on a global level.
The company appointed Coco Brown, Founder and CEO of The Athena Alliance, which offers women access to a community of support for every level of their senior leadership careers, and Hal Howard, a veteran in the Microsoft community who led the M
Building Strength in Vertical Industries: ArcherPoint Acquires LS Retail Retail Partner EC Advance and Partners with PrintVis
ArcherPoint rounded out the year by continuing to increase focus on vertical markets with the acquisition of EC Advance, a Toronto-based Microsoft Dynamics ERP and LS Retail partner, making ArcherPoint one of the largest and most geographically diverse Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central partners in North America, as well as the largest LS Retail practice in North America.
ArcherPoint also established a partnership with PrintVis, a leading independent developer and provider of printing solutions embedded in Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Dynamics 365 Business Central, to provide expanded business management solutions to companies in the printing industry.
Keeping it in Perspective: ArcherPoint Partners with Mouse, a Non-Profit Empowering Students with Technology
Along with making significant strides from a business perspective in 2019, ArcherPoint continued its commitment to supporting the next generation to learn, lead, and create. ArcherPoint joined with Mouse, a national youth development nonprofit that believes in technology as a force for good, to help youth and educators engage with computer science and creative technology for problem solving and positive change.
