A question on re-sorting a list based on fields in the header in NAV 2013 R2:
Question: A new Feature on NAV 2013 R2 allows a user to hit the Header Line on any List pages, and whatever field they are on, the display re-sorts by the field that they selected. Users are having a lot of heartache when they are entering a PO and then they accidentally hit the header bar on the Lines List Page – the list then re-sorts itself by whatever heading item was accidentally clicked.
The Line No. field is not currently on the Page. Do anyone know of a way to either turn off the re-sort feature on specific pages (PO Lines, Sales Lines etc) or restore the original sort back to the Lines? Any suggestions will be helpful.

Try going to the Action menu for the lines, selecting Customize, and clicking on Restore Defaults.

That works, but it’s a shame that we cannot just turn this feature off. As mentioned above, that method basically takes away a user’s ability to save any personalization. Any other suggestions?

What about adding the Line No. field to the page, but making it not editable? Then they can just click on the Line No. column to re-sort.

That is a thought. I was hoping not to use that particular solution, but I can see this as needed.
Unfortunately, I've not found an easy way to turn this off.
Question regarding the best way to “copy a company”:
Question: Is there a function / process within Nav2013R2 to allow you to "copy a company" within the same db and rename it? (Not the export / import feature of NAV.) I have a client that has a Template company setup already in Nav2013R2, and they would like to copy that company and rename it to a new company name.
1) Does Nav2013R2 have an internal copy company process that exists? (not export/import process)
2) Does Nav2013R2 company rename process exist to rename an existing company to another name?
