A bright 2012...an even brighter 2013

2012 was a banner year for Dynamics NAV. October marked the release of NAV 2013, which means Dynamics NAV is now the most technologically advanced of the Microsoft Dynamics ERP products with its three-tier model, one-click deployment, cloud-ready architecture, one-click web services, browser-independent web client, and completely redesigned and unified user experience across all platforms.
NAV 2013 is also the easiest to install, configure, and deploy in more countries and more languages than any other ERP product on the market. That has to be why NAV continues to be one of the best if not the best-selling ERP product in the world, with more than 93,000 companies using it to run their businesses.
Enthusiasm for NAV 2013 was evidenced by record attendance at both Microsoft Dynamics NAV partner conferences, Directions US, and Directions EMEA. The NAV User Group conference, NAVUG Forum 2012, also set record attendance, and the membership is growing beyond everyone’s wildest expectations.
As exciting as last year was, the coming year looks even brighter. NAV will be the first of the Dynamics ERP products to move to a yearly release cycle, meaning that NAV will extend its lead in the entire category of midmarket ERP applications both technologically and functionally.
At ArcherPoint, we are working on introducing Dynamics NAV to new audiences. Our strength has always been helping complex manufacturers and distributors create unique solutions to complex challenges. While we will continue to serve and expand that client base, we are focusing on delivering NAV solutions to retail clients with LS Retail. We are also extending our offerings across the supply chain to include transportation and logistics companies with NaviTrans. As always, we will continue to invest in building the largest and most experienced team of full-time NAV professionals across the country.
People often joke that ERP isn’t exciting…all I can say is, those people haven’t seen Dynamics NAV. Hopefully, if you aren’t already running NAV, you’ll make seeing it for yourself a New Year’s resolution and give us a call.
