NAVUG Summit 2015 Sessions: What We’re Excited About

NAVUG Summit 2015 is less than away, and we are excited. If you haven’t registered yet, what are you waiting for? The premier Microsoft Dynamics NAV conference will be taking place in Reno, Nevada, October 13-16. Our favorite part about Summit, besides seeing all of you, is attending the sessions. They offer a great opportunity to learn more about Dynamics NAV and how you can add value to your business.

From the official Summit Session line-up, we’ve compiled a list of what we’re looking forward to most. Check out the entire line-up here to determine which sessions are right for you. You might think you still have plenty of time, but knowing what you need to learn and determining how you can get that done will help you make the most out of your time at Summit.

General Business

We at ArcherPoint have definitely been influenced by this book and look forward to the president of Fastpath’s presentation.

Dynamics NAV Development

If I Knew Then What I Know Now about: C/AL – Attend this session with Matt Traxinger from ArcherPoint to learn from the mistakes he’s been able to learn from when starting to program in Dynamics NAV. If you’re new to programming or still learning best practices, this session is for you.

Stump The Experts: Dev Best Practices – This isn’t your ordinary “ask the experts” session. These Microsoft MVPs want you to challenge them with your hardest development questions. Bring all those questions you think don’t have an answer or ones you’ve been stuck on for as long as you can remember and see if they can help solve them for you!

23 Tips and Tricks for Developers – Pencils up! Get your notes ready as Matt Traxinger shares the top 23 tips and tricks you need to know to take of advantage of the minute you get back home.

Capturing Requirements for Dynamics NAV Development – The best part of having Dynamics NAV is being able to constantly optimize it to fit your business’ needs. Carrie McNally from ArcherPoint and Kim Congleton from Group O will show you how to solicit ideas for improvement and follow through on them.
